Don't buy from TascaParts if you need something on time
Yeah, it's hit or miss (mostly miss) with him. I have not had much success trying to go through him. Your best bet is to call Tasca directly or try one of the other shops mentioned.
New contacts for parts at Tasca are:
Gring Yang - gyang@tasca.com
Kevin Shepherd - kshepherd@tasca.com
I read on another forum that Josh doesn't do parts anymore which explains why you are having trouble. He has a different job at Tasca now.

Got an e-mail from Kevin this morning. Just waiting on his reply...

All of my positives re: Tasca were always due to Domenic's customer service.

I have used Tasca a few times, and gotten okay service . No beef on my part, I was just stating my experience with him.
I used to work for Tasca, in Wholesale parts but not in the RI location, I was out of state.
They had some issues over the summer when they moved the wholesale parts operation into a separate facility, and made 2 separate inventories. Wholesale no longer had the ability to grab parts out of the dealership service and retail inventory, so it took them a while to get back to 100%, also the amount of parts they had to move, and get into inventory locations and get them into the database so they know where to find the parts was massive.
For about 4 weeks the wholesale parts department was disrupted.
Then there were problems with the phones and internet connections in the new building. All the phones are VoIP, so it was a cluster eff of major proportions.
If you want to go to the top in the wholesale parts department, send an email to Jason Enos ( Jenos@tasca.com) he is the wholesale parts manager.
Or call the 401 681 1300 and ask for Tom Macedo, he is the big boss in Wholesale/Internet parts.
Tasca is not out to screw you, they may have had a few glitches over the summer, and I'm sure they will apologize for that. Tasca offers some of the best prices out there, and wants your business.
If you are unhappy, call or email the people I mentioned.

I called them this morning and ordered phasers and other parts. Forgot who I spoke with but he was helpful and and said he would get the parts out today for me since I my truck is down. I have ordered from them before and never had any problems.
I finally heard back from Kevin at Tasca this morning. It took them three days to respond, and it was too late as I had ordered from Tousley last night. $2600 order lost due to slow response...

I sent an email to three people in the parts management at Tasca asking them to address the issue of not having anyone from internet sales post here anymore. Hopefully they will assign someone from internet parts to frequent here and announce special buys and such
I have lost my patience with tasca as well. ordered a part 11 days ago and it still has not shipped. i have already contacted tasca and received what i consider to be a generic and false response stating that it takes a week to get the part in and that it would ship 10/21 or 10/24 latest. well here we are 10/25 and my order still has not shipped and my order status is still the same as it was day one. I have now emailed the parts manager and if he does not take action to ensure i get my part by the end of the week i will not be doing business with tasca in the future.
Hi Guys/Gals,
My name is Kevin, and very recently i've been assigned to take care of all of our forum customers. It's my goal to provide you all with service that is hopefully satisfactory to all of your wants and needs! I'll be around Tuesday through Fridays, roughly 8-5 EST, and will be answering questions and fulfilling orders through E-Mail and PM (Preferably E-Mail as its easier). Please understand that business hours are only Monday through Friday 8-5 (i'm here late some afternoons) , and after the weekend, i have dozens upon dozens of requests to sort through! please be patient, I WILL respond back, however I can only get through so many at a time. My contact information should be in my signature.
Thank You All Very Much,
Kevin Shepherd

Even for those of us in the business who have customers cars apart in our shops waiting for parts it is frustrating, but it is part of the joy of working on cars/trucks.
If you want to PM me the part numbers I can call and see if the parts are on backorder.
There is no reason you can not call wholesale parts, tell them you are fred from Fred's Tire in Cranston, give them tell them you want a quote, and what you are looking for Then the salesguy will tell you if the part is in stock or not, and if it isn't they can tell you how long it would take to get it.
That tells you how long it will take for them to have it to ship out.
I can call the salesman I used to work with and he can get the info for me in under a minute. The guy is a wizard when it comes to locating parts.
