THIS ^ worked. I emailed Jason Enos and he called me back within the hour. Turns out the first part arrived broken from Ford. They expect my replacement part to come in tomorrow and they are going to upgrade me to overnight shipping at no charge. If somebody would have just told me that in the emails back and forth through tascaparts.com I would have been much more understanding. I did not receive an email through tascaparts.com about this until after I had talked to Jason on the phone. I am glad they came up with a solution that made me feel like they wanted my return business. i will continue to buy cheaper parts through tascaparts.com thanks to Jason Enos.

wow looks like the email I sent to Tom and Jason worked, nice to see the Tasca guys back posting on the forum

Welcome to the forum Kevin and Josh... Tell Tom M and Mike S I said hello!

MiltIV nice to hear Jason took care of you.

Mr Tasca Sr. built that business on the slogan "you will be satisfied" and even though he is no longer with us, Tasca still follows that philosophy.

I ordered a new PCV valve for my truck from Tasca right around the time this whole thread was made, and I had my part in 2 days. I think their shipping & customer service is great!

A few months back, for those who remember my trailer build. When I added my Tekonsha brake controller, I needed to order the 7/4 pin harness and some other stuff, and it all came in 2 days. No hassles or anything, and they double checked to make sure it would work flawlessly for my application on my truck.

I still want to know how to get a set of the black/red FX4 metal body emblems (R/L fender, tailgate). This being off the FX4 2012 appearance package.

I have always had fantastic service from Tasca, except for this past week.

I wanted to order a set of trailer tow mirrors for my F250. I needed some information before I placed the order. I sent an email to Josh on Saturday, hoping for a reply on Monday. (I did not know Josh wasn't our internet guy anymore). I called and left a message on Monday, and sent an email to Kevin on Tuesday. Never heard back from anyone. I needed to get these mirrors on the UPS truck for so I could have them here the first week of Nov.

I couldn't wait any longer so I placed an order with another online Ford Parts dealer that answered all my emails immediately as well as the two phone calls I made to them on Weds.

I will use Tasca again. As I said, I have always had superb service from them. I guess there was just a glitch in the system this time.

Let's see - you want parts for a truck that hasn't even been built yet?

oh of course.... and there's not one post on this board of anyone interested in getting the wheels, anything else.

Considering TASCA said 'oh yes we can get 2012 parts' I don't feel it is that big of stretch. I called being just curious.

The parts have to be made BEFORE they can build trucks.

The parts are made, but are designated for the assembly line, not depot inventory.

When I worked for TASCA, one of my customers needed parts for a 12 Focus, the problem was the part was on "99 backorder" which meant it was made out of unobtanium. We got hold of one deck lid that had about 4 hours of damage on it, that wasn't going to be good for anyone since Ford will only give a 40 dollar allowance for damage rework, and it took another week to get the last remaining deck lid shipped to us from East Oshkosh.

Newly introduced parts take a while to make it to the parts departments, Ford manages their inventory very well, and knows they don't have to tie money up in crash and repair parts for vehicles that are not out on the streets in numbers. AS more trucks hit the street they will start upping the available inventory to the depots and that then is available to the dealership parts departments.

I don't even know how much of the 2012 parts catalog has been incorporated into MicroCat for the dealers to be able to look at to even see if the parts are available.

I have only bought from them several times. They seem to be very slow.I have a return item there now and can not find out anything about it.It's only $60 but it's my $.Trying to reorder other parts but would like to use the credit aginst the new order.

The previous order took forever to get, after several calls they said it just fell through the cracks. Then was another week.

Not bad mouthing them, they just need to take control of the issues.

I just placed another order from Tousley Ford this morning... this one was for only $1100. Just another missed sale due to Tasca not responding to my original e-mails. You reap what you sow...

I did the same thing a few days ago. My order was only $663.00.

Tousley answered all of my email questions within an hour or two, and they picked up the phone both times when I called, and took the time to open up two boxes with different part numbers to see what (if any) the difference was between the two parts. (Shipping was $46 less also)

Hopefully Tasca will get geared back up and start running smoothly again. They have always provided my with good service prior to this.

I personally have nothing but good things to say about Tasca Parts but its clear that recently, some are not happy. I've been dealing with Tasca for years so if you can continue to provide the level of service provided by guys like Domenic St. Angelo, I am sure all will be happy as I have been.

Thanks
