Hey Darren, good choice. Glad everything worked out These supercrews can be hard to maneuver at times when parking, but thats about the only quirk that I can say about mine. Your mod list is gonna look killer on it when finished.

our crews are a little shorter than the scabs with the 6.5 foot bed arent they?

what is going on with the trans again? i think ida stayed away from it at that point.

I think he meant the trans in the 04 was starting to act strange, which was another reason he wanted to trade it in.

So far this is much easier to handle and maneuver than my 2004 was. As its a few inches shorter and the stock wheels/tires make driving a much improved pleasure than my 204 on the MTs riding on Bilstein shocks. I actually almost don't wanna mod this beyond tint & PTM handles at this point.. idk. I almost see little to hardly have my Gryphon re-programmed for the 07, its peppy and decently quick stock. But I'm sure that part of me will break soon and I will want to change it. Right now I am really enjoying the stock Lariat.

Yes, SuperCab 6'5 is a 145wb, Supercrew 5'5 is a 139, so I gained 6"s of garage space.

Yes the 04 trans as Matt said. I had the dealer perform a screen and fluid exchange and it still had a minor slip, long delay for reverse, and never wanted to be quick in cold temps. I feel more secure knowing I have the '06+ trans now that it is more revised 4r75 than the '04 - '05 model 4r75. If it blew I would have replaced it but after I saw this chrome pkg black Lariat on the dealer lot at the corner of my eye I had to go see it. Interest on it grew more when I looked inside it and heard the history of it.

Looks like mine haha... nice ride. That black leather interior would make anyone go crazy for the truck, did for me.

I bought an '06 SCREW Lariat that looks very similar to that one. It had 39000 miles on at the time of purchase and I got them down to 19k on it when they were asking 26500. It took me all day, but it was worth it. Asking them to get you in the 21k range seems fair to me, especially with gas prices going up.

I actually like the chrome always have and always will,BUT you need to get rid of that bugflector thingy, it looks clingy

Last but not least, CONGRATULATIONS!! now you can enjoy it and thank the big man upstairs for having let you reach a want, it's been a while you wanted a screw with leather, so cheers bud!!

Thanks man! Yeah I wasn't going to for awhile, but it had a couple issues I did not want to deal with, I don't like the thought of putting a lot into a truck when I won't gain much out of it later. But, the old truck SOLD 24 HRS after trade. So someone sure wanted it.

I removed the chrome bug shield 3hrs after I got it home. According to the MSRP sheet it was a $120 option. Eek, I'd rather it be $126 in the trash can .

I took pics earlier, will post them a bit later. Also ordered Weathertech DigiFit mats, can't wait. Cause I do not want this beautiful carpet dirtied up.

Yes I was very surprised too. The next day I seen it go past me in town and I guess that was when the new person bought it. Was a kid my age.

LEDs come on I created that thread , I have a shopping list all ready, probably going to buy in a few weeks when I buy tint also. Or, if DarkShadow posts a new discount code.

I'm kind of considering the 2" AS, not much of a big visual difference with the two is there?

New pics from Saturday morning 5/14/11.

And one I didn't post, the mandatory "hell yeah look what I bought!" shot from the day I bought it.
