Got mine today. It literally took 5 minutes. I waited longer for them to pull it in than the recall did.

Had mine done today. They said I would have to wait an hour or so as they had another job in front of mine but one of the sales guys gave me a ride to work. The sheet list .5 hours to complete but it doesn't take long at all.

Mine was done yesterday, I was surprised when the dealer called so fast to tell me it was done. Took about 1/2 hour or so.

We had stocked up on the kit, set auto-order at 20 pieces every time we got below 20. Now, they will not ship more than 6 kits at a time unless we have a specific VIN.

Meaning: call for an appointment, if they don't ask for your vin#, make them take it anyway, there can be parts delays without it. :o

Question about repairing the Airbag problem (Help)

My brother n law took his 2004 F150 in to the local Ford dealership to get the airbag problem fixed. He did this last Wednesday and he was supposed to pick it up on Friday. When he went to pick it up, the truck won't run. It will start up but dies out. They said they didn't do anything to it other than fix the airbag problem. This truck has never had any problems and wasn't missing or anything. They are telling him that they are 99% sure he needs to replace the throttle body. It is still in the garage, it won't run even enough to drive it outside. Could they have done something while repairing the airbag to cause this to happen? Thanks.
