Body Lift?
Good thread, nice truck after install truck looks good and wheel and tires add great compliment! I bet the truck sits up pretty good to.
About the body lift banter, pleeasse man. You sound jealous or just immature. Body lifts are legit and a great affordable addition to simply add moderate lift for a desired look. That simple. Some dont want 6 inches and messing with the entire stock suspension componets. Body lifts are affordable and affective, and make sense. Maybe you should spend more time reading and understanding what they are, what they are made of and kits that include everything to fix bumpers, gap guards, and oh yeah the frame rails showing? Yeah cover them with running boards, youll never know or see. And yea atleast keep them clean and decent.
Come on, you dont like them you dont like them, thats you but dont try and convience others that BLs are stupid and half **** of a lift? No , turning up torsion bars is an example of wanting lift but not spending money, not like actually buying a lift (body lift) and adding lift from the (body lift).
If you wanted 4 inches of lift, why spend $1400 on a suspension lift and having someone mess with and screw with your entire perfectly good working front stock suspension when you could spend $380 and have 3 inches, the desired look, will look the exact same, no premature stress on componets like such with when you add a suspension lift (yes they do add more stress on front end componets).. this is a viewpoint of many individuals. Body lift banter is old your about 20 years to late on debating their effectiveness. They are designed to safely and affectively give a small amount of safe lift without comprimising vehicle structure, ride quality, and safety. I personally like 2 inch body lifts instead of 3.
