Well I can see your point of view. I guess others could say there's no need for loud exhaust unless you like driving around irritating people. Either way I don't really care, each their own. I like a little bass, but not "thumping" type of bass.

 

Thats the beauty of it, its your money you can do what you want. I have an upgraded stereo system and exhaust system. I enjoy the stereo a little more since thats what I hear the most. The 10" sub in a truck won't thump and annoy people but it will complete the sound. That being said, after I get this supercharger installed, I will be looking at completing the rest of the exhaust. Either will be good as your truck does look very nice already.

A nice sound system is pleasant for long drives so there are perks to having a decent system. It doesn't necessarily tend to be a ricer thing, and not everyone has bass going down the street.

Mandatory first change for a V8 truck imo. Aside of painting my OEM honeycomb grill satin black, exhaust was the first thing I did to my truck. Having a quiet V8 pisses me off, and the '04 - '05s were about the quietest V8 truck I have ever heard, 4 huge cats and a 32" muffler, pathetic. Now when I start it in the morning and have a headache I hold my right ear when I walk back inside .

 

I agree! They have that wimpy wanna be super duty sound It's like you gotta add the exhuast for the truck to grow a pair

you already have exhaust, even though it is a flowmaster. i cant stand not having bass in my truck! i unplugged my system for a day and it drove me crazy!
