Just picked up a slightly used Roll N Lock bed cover for a dang good deal. I hope my gear can stay dry now!

Looks great!

I take it you approve of their massaging it back into shape.

The reason I did this project was because the fender flares decided to literally eat through my paint where they meet the truck as you can see in the following pic. Down to bare metal...

Drove out to the nearest rifle range to shoot my new rifle.

Then I loaded up my kayak and hauled it to the river where I shot a tilapia with my bow that tied with the state record.

In the past week I have installed myself:

Rear Raybestos "professional" brake drum-disc, ceramic brake pads, parking brake drum linings
New made from scratch driveshaft because 2004 didn't have replaceable u-joints. (www.shaftmasters.com)
Rear Bilstein 5100's
Front Bilstein 5100's 2in lift setting
Moog upper control arms with new ball joints
Moog lower ball joints
Moog tie rod ends
Moog sway bar links
Both front 4x4 IWE vacuum actuators (both were frozen)

Then I took it to Belle Tire today and got a new set of Michelin LT275/65/18 LTX M/S2's installed and a full alignment.

Truck literally rides better than brand new

Checkbook is on fire from all the parts, but a lot cheaper than having the work done at a shop or dealer.

Got almost 120,000 on her now, this should get her to 200,000+ easily

was working on the mustang, went to wallmart to get stuff, and on the way there heard every 04-08 owners worst nightmare........why the ******* is there water dripping on my head.

so wheres all this reading on leaking 3rd brake light again?

so today, i pulled my 3rd brake light at midnight, very tired, and coincidentially a cargo led light bulb is out. how gay is that? the wires arent even wet, and i put the working cargo led light in the side that the out one was in and it lit up. the bulb has no continuity. odd indeed.

so im looking at fixing the 3rd brake light and a new led bulb. ugh
