Yes pretty close, I am very happy with the sound. Was afraid of the Honda 'fart can' sound, this is a nice deep tone with a mild aggression. Mild sound too, not louder than the truck but not like adding a quiet muffler either, just right. I am lucky to have even found the system, Vibrant stopped making them for Cavs in 2010 or so, found this kit ( originally $430 ) for $100 on Craigslist 150 miles away!.

The front feels more planted with the wider size and the speedo isn't off luckily. Very much worth it. 225 is about 3/4" to 1" wider, my choice of tire comes 1" wider. Can't wait to drive it in a few minutes! Just hoping between exhaust and tire width I don't lose 1 avg mpg.

All of that sounds very familiar! I'll have to become better versed on these other exhaust types haha.

I'm sure you'll be alright as long as you take it easy with her, but you always do. And even if you do lose a bit, 1 MPG out of 30 is easier to lose than 1 out of 17.

Mudvayne is never too intense, so long as the system isn't up too high for her, lol. But for the sake of the development of her language (and my 2 year old) that we're all very familiar with when our trucks aren't operating in a manner they're supposed to, I might have to add some less intense music to my Ipod playlist

when I camp in my canopy and I use a flashlight even with tinted windows people from outside can see through

I remembered the movie predator when at the beginning they are in the chopper flying by night, the only light there is, is red, so I looked up for red LED to install in the canopy facing downwards, at my surprise it came with a remote with like maybe 15 different switchable color buttons, after trying them all, the only color that can't be seen from outside is still red

basically a strip of LED powered by a small box with an IR remote

Yesterday I replaced my chrome honeycomb grille with a Fx4 H-bar grille. Currently working on my emblems to paint them black then will probably take a crack at opening my headlights (get it? take a crack?) and paint the housings black. Since mine is a Lariat it came will a lot of chrome detailing that I hated. With everything I've done the only chrome left now is the running boards and headlights!

How are you going to paint the emblems? I want to do that to mine because they are starting to fade and my truck is also black so I think it would look nice to.

Here's a How To link: http://www.fordf150.net/howto/. I'm just following those instructions on painting them.

Also there's a guy on here that does them and does a great job. Search PTM emblems and look for a post by LiftedLariat5.4. His website is customtrucksolutions.com. If I do a bad job with mine I'll probably see if he can make me a set.

Drove it last weekend. Been parked with the battery pulled out and in the house since, and until I need it again, or till the salt goes away.

Did get a quote of $75 to paint my new Harley valance, will get to that soon.

Lol that's always fun! Just gives you an excuse to drive like a maniac till the needle drops right past the full. Then back to grannying it

I usually wait to the 1/2 tank line to start grannying it, if then.
