Painted front bumper to rid of the chrome. Back bumper and headlights to follow very shortly. Crappy pic as it is nighttime and raining, but weather permitting better pics will come tomorrow. Bumper was easier to pull off than I anticipated. 8 bolts and a few more to get the fogs and bottom plastic piece off, but overall not too bad. I know, rattle can painting a 20,000 dollar truck, but the chrome bumpers were starting to get to me.

^^ Looks much better. What type of paint did you use? I'm curious as I paintd my side steps, mirrors, door handles, emblems with krylon and they are starting to peel even with rattle can clear coat. I'll be black chroming my bullbar soon and hopefully that will hold out better.

And today I changed my fuel filter and fixed my driver side passenger window switch which was sticking Thanks to Matt (Mblouir) for the writeup

I used krylon primer first then krylon flat black paint. I figure worse case scenario if it doesn't hold up I will get them powdercoated black eventually.

Washed it and put gas in it while it's $3.79. It's dropped 20 cents this week, bound to jump .50

Installed my new HD headlight with Silverstar and Stealth bulbs. Also installed my new front "Ford" emblem to replace the faded out one that was on the truck.

This weekend i Dynamatted the front doors and rear wall, put a 4' by 6' piece of Thermoguard under the rear carpet, swapped in some Infinity Kappa components in the front doors, swapped in 2 Alpine PDX amps, rewired the Best Buy wired sound system while exchanging my single Memphis 10 for a dual 10 Fox Box with JL 10 W3s. Took the "interior removed" time to vacuum every nook and cranny, and today I treated the leather seats to a nice thick coat of Meguiar's Gold Class leather conditioner.

Last month I put on chrome door and tailgate covers, chrome door pillars, a chrome grill overlay, chrome Super Duty style emblem accents and chrome side mirror covers. Writing this it sounds like a lot of chrome, but on a 100% white truck i think it looks really good. No one believes my truck is an 04!
