Finally got my drop shackles installed. It ended up costing me more for the installation than the shackles, bummer.

It's on a bit of a slope, so the rake is a little less than what's pictured. Still a huge improvement over stock!

Brought my cousin to pick up his truck at the dealer and got mine checked for the recall. Took 5 minutes, watched the tech change the harness in the parking lot.

Definitely giving it a bath tomorrow too.

$160 from the local Ford performance shop. One shop said $400.



Needless to say, I had a good laugh.

Didnt want to install them yourself?

I tried to, but the tools didn't want to cooperate. I got as far as taking the lugnuts off before the damn socket split. After that, I figured it would not be in my best interest to have another socket give when everything was apart.

Ahh gotcha, the socket split when using hand tools and not an impact? Might be time for some new tools haha

I could spend my whole paycheck on tools and still not have enough, but a new impact wrench would be nice.

I hear ya, I got about 3000 invested in tools, alot are specialty tools mind you, and still seems like I dont have enough when im working haha.
