Well, I did this about a week ago, but here it is.

Added an Aries Offroad grille guard and (2) PIAA 540 Xtreme White Driving lights.

What paint did you use on your exhaust? Did you mask anything?

Primed and painted the driver side frame rail back to the axle. Going to do the whole frame, just has to get nicer. Changed oil tonight also. 118,000

The first time I did it I used rustoleum grill paint that was like 800-1200 degrees and it worked ok but some spots came off. This time I used VHT flame proof paint that was rated 1300-2000 degrees. It was a ceramic paint and I definitly think that this stuff will work a lot better.

Oh, and no I just sprayed away.

Took off the exhaust tip that came with the chrome package. Cut off the end of the exhaust pipe that was inside the exhaust tip. Re-installed the slip over exhaust tip.

It's on a bit of a slope, so the rake is a little less than what's pictured. Still a huge improvement over stock!
Looks good, I was thinking of doing this too. Any vibrations? Some say drop shackles can cause 'em.

I haven't noticed anything for the almost two years I've had mine.

The truck looks good 4.6

Not that I can notice. The shims that came with the kit are supposed to prevent vibrations, so the shop installed them. The only vibrations I've got is from those damn hub rings that I'm still waiting on after almost 2 months.

x2 on the

Went and pulled my buddy out of a river he was stuck in since last night. Broke one strap, he blew a tire and lost a mud flap and we left the Chevy still stuck there. The Ford had priority of course
The water sure is cold this time of year
