My last service record at the dealership says, "12/19/13, 120,367mi." So, just about 4,433 miles added this year only . Best I ever did! It would have been 3,400 but my car's fuel pump went so I had to drive that a few weeks.

Truck was built in 2006 and sold in Oct 2006, so sitting at 124,8xx it averages out to 15,600 a year. I put 22k miles in it in 2011, a little less in 2012, and I think 9k in 2013, so this is a drastic improvement on preserving its value.

. Dwello being around 3,000 miles overall on his 2005 is flat out amazing. Sounds foolish but I love seeing low original miles on vehicles.
yours sure ain't packing 'em on fast anymore lol

amazing, but I couldn't have a truck I liked much and not drive her to that extreme.

my good truck has 103K....had 98K in feb '11.....I'm glad rate of accumulation has increased.....sometimes I think her low mileage is kinda impressive, then I know she can handle it so I don't care lol

I've got 96k but she's (knock on wood) been really solid for me and I'd say she was in pretty darn good shape overall.
mine's fpdm gave out, other than that no trouble besides wear items.....I was more referring to the fact that her 2 front doors are beat up, front bumper is bent up on 1 side, ding in the bedside, a lil rust, and interiors a pig sty haha

Installed a BakFlip G2. Love how sleek it looks.

Had to buy throw a set of new tires under my truck a few months earlier than expected. Went with the Firestone Destinations. Love the BakFlip. Been thinking about replacing my fiberglass ARE with one.

could never tolerate that on my good truck, but that's about how I think of her wounds....actually I think the ding in the bedside is from my boot if I remember right....

I just picked up my 07 KR SCREW this week so today I.....

Changed the rear diff and transfer case oils with some Royal Purple. Swapped all the exterior lights with brighter or new bulbs since some were burned out. Rotated and balanced the tires. Yesterday I took off the Westin HDX grill/brush guard (not a fan of them). Cleaned out the MAF sensor. Tomorrow I'll swap out the front diff oil with RP and I'll also put a new fuel filter on it. Once my plug extraction tool kit comes in, I'll give that a go with the plugs. Christmas is more than likely going to yield a set of OBX long tubes so I'll attempt that too. I love this thing but it needs just a bit more power. I'm coming off a 954 rwtq F350 and it's a shock.

Very nice! Freshly purchased and jumped directly into good maintenance without a slack. That is highly respectable and very smart in terms of long term reliability! The truck will appreciate it, keep it up!

It's a habit. I used to work with nukes. Have to be ahead of the game.

Not trying to steer you away from doing the long tubes, cause the sound alone is worth it, but you likely won't notice any power increases. I put OBX's, the kit without cats, and custom tuning on at the same time and barely noticed any difference at all (entire exhaust is mandrel bent 304 SS). Not a worthwhile expenditure if you're just looking for more power. I even checked myself and drove other mostly stock 04-08 5.4s around (work at a dealership) to see if they were noticeably slower and it was a wash. I think part of it may be that the primaries are too large. Need to be 1 5/8" IMO.

That's all I've read is that 1.75 is too much. I saw a few on Ebay where they were either/or sizes and intended to go with the smaller. I've had 1.75 on a few different cars. I know the torque loss. Honestly, I'm just getting headers because of a manifold leak I currently have. I read shorties are a waste and I want to gain a little if possible. LT 1.60 setup is raved but I haven't seen too many negatives. I'm not in the mood for loud pipes either. Having loud turbos and exhaust are a thing of the past for me. Thanks!

Oh okay, if you've got the infamous manifold leak, I'd do it just for kicks. Even if you're going to have a larger muffler, (do you still want some sound?) it makes the tone deeper, which is nice. If you're foregoing the cats, the OBX kit with resonators is a steal on value. But I've heard their cats are not very good, so I'd get some Magnaflow cats (14640 or something like that, I can find out the right PN) if you're trying to stay legal. Also, I'd recommend new locking header bolts and not using their supplied gaskets unless they come in great shape (some are fine, mine crumbled to pieces when I took them out of the packaging).

I have part numbers, links, etc. for doing this and making it a little easier if/when you need them.

What is "LT 1.60?"

I have a thread in this forum on the new truck. In order to keep the format of this thread as was intended, I'd really appreciate your inputs on mine. I have researched much of this but not enough details on opposing sides that I'd like to see. Please do join me in my thread on the subject.

LT 1.60= Long Tubes at around 1 + 5/8 primaries. Maybe it's a 1.65 or so. Whatever.

Thanks
Dave

It's my birthday, but I gave my truck the present of a shower/wax

Not too bad for 180,000 miles, hmm?
