I don't have any statistical data, but they have more impact in the front. I may lose 1mpg in the rear, and 2mpg in the front. Every trip is different so it is a rough comparison. This trip all four of us drove a bit of the trip. With the heaviest foot the average was down to 15.8. I had bikes in the front and rear, so I guess that is double air.

I don't want it to get to expensive. In the past when there were too many bikes I just threw a 5.8 utility trailer behind the truck. It's just nicer to travel without the trailer.

When I drove to Indiana to pick up my trailer, we got a bike ride in while we were there.

Have any pictures/details on just the hitch? I'd like to mount a receiver on the front but a little higher.
