I don't like how you have to have a 6 cylinder to be able to have a stick. I wish my truck was manual...

And you should post up some pictures of your Boss.

I was on the fence for ever about manual/auto and it came down to 2 key realizations.

1) I live in Houston and it is not uncommon for a 5 mile drive to take 45minutes and for as much joy as the manual would bring, for the couple of times a month that I am stuck in some much traffic I would end up hating it.

2) They didnt have a stick in any color that I really liked.

As for the boss, it needs work ($$$$). When I get ready to re-wire it, Ill post pics

Haha I don't care if it still needs work. It's a Boss mustang those cars are sick.

When I tried to order my truck that I filled out the paper work then waited 10 months for which never even got the chance to see anything proving me it was being built. I asked for a manual and they were like well your going to have a V6 and just with that I was like well scratch that I'll take the auto. In a way I wish Ford actually build my truck like I wanted but I found my Fx2 and i love it so it's all good.

you dont have to have the 6. you just have to get a 97-03 body style and you can get the stick and 4.6 v8. or do what jmc did and swap a blown 5.4 with the M5OD

Love the thread!

Just picked up my second 150. Like what you are doing to yours.

I can relate, I have to pause with mods. Need to buy a ring first. After the ring, GAME ON!

Revelations!! (why didnt I think of this before)

aha! genius! inspired tomfoolery!

So we all know why the mod have slowed down right? GF would become irked if our hers spends any more cash on the truck instead of her ring. Well thanks to Obama (I cant believe I actually just typed that, jesus christo) our illustrious entertainer has the cash for the ring, but has to wait until after august, since his sis is getting hitched in July and would be royally peeved if he upstaged her. SO, whats he to do? Well appearance product are off the table, but she will never know if he works on the engine, BWAHAHAHAHA! UDP's will be on their way shortly, and he's running around looking for a mark 8 fan this weekend. Dastardly! Underhanded!

I say you just push your luck. then after you ask her you can tell her well, I did get the ring, just wasnt the time to give it to you. Mauahaha. lol Do you have a plan on how your going to purpose to her? you should put it in a new "Mod" to your truck and have her check it out. then when she does Bow~!! popp the question.

^^ awesome, either that or on the jumbotron at the texans home opener.

Either way, she would kill me if I did either one. I had a friend who went to the grocery store and got one of those $.50 rings out of the candy machine and put the cheap ring in the nice box and vice versa. He proposed with the cheap one thinking, if she says yes to the crappy one then she will get the nice one. I might do something similar just to mess with her.

Btw, just bought a Mark VIII fan on ebay for $55. Score!

Ok, really all I have to say is, dude you need to write a book! This is hands down the best tread on here! Oh, and yes of course when this book comes out and out sells Harry Potter and the Bible combined.....you can remember to give a little of that "watcha-ma-call-it green paper stuff" (you know what I'm talking about ) to me. Oh ya and the other part would go to your secret hidden project that your wife doesnt know about, even though she probably looks at it everyday.... Tell me you realize this is a great idea....
You can thank me later.

I'll sure let you know when I get cranking again! Honestly, I think I am just going to redneck the exhaust. You sure do have me thinking about blacking out the lights though. Good job. Man... That looks cool. When I finally move to the country, then I'll put 20's on her. I can barely get into my parking garage at work now, otherwise,I would not wait on the tires.

Keep up the posting. This is a great story.
