Hey folks I need some quick help.

I did this mod on my 2005 and dad loved it. So I said for fathers day I would order some for his 2011 Supercrew XLT. It has the two map lights in the front and the single rear dome. What lights do I need to order?

I looked at the 2011 thread and didnt find what I was looking for. I would search some more if it wasnt so time sensitive! Thanks!

According to Sylvania's Bulb Replacement Guide the 2011 F150 uses 194 bulbs for the map lights, and a 578 for the dome light. If that is the case, the bulbs you used in your 2005 should be a match for the 2011.

It looks like VLEDS has a new 211 design that may not be as bright. It only has 3 HP bulbs instead of 4. It is still going to be bright though. Under the Specs, it doesn't have Total Luminous Intensity listed. I would email them and ask them if they have that information. If it is less than 52 lm, it shouldn't be as bright. The 4 HP version you are using is listed as 52 lm.

Darren, did you order your bulbs? I'm interested to see the how the license plate lights look if you take pictures. I went with a flank style, and I think you were going with the 360 style. On my truck, one side is slightly higher than the other, I'm curious if the 360 style would make a difference.

I have not bought the LEDs yet, a couple of things came up like home bills, had to make an insurance claim from storm damage and needed a new Craftsman lawn mower, and I paid extra on my first payment for the new truck. Soon though.

I had a 360 style bulb in the old truck. They were quite bright.

Thanks. I'm curious if the 2007 connecters could be at a different angle, or if the bulbs alone cause the offset. It's not real obvious in person, as the light covers the plate, but I notice it.

Since both of yall have 2007 models, it might make it easier to identify the cause. I don't know that it's a big enough deal to justify purchasing new bulbs. I'm really just curious. I like my plate lights, they light up the plates very well.

i have an 07, ill get pics tonight of them. i did notice when putting them in that they dont face out exactly right, they are the flank style and they seem to be pointing up when you put them in. i thought i was going to have to get 360 degree ones but i noticed that it lights up fine with them the way they are.

ill get pics tonight.

those are the flank style bulbs. as i said a post above, they dont face out of the opening perfectly, they point to one corner, but its still enough light to get out and do that ^. here in a little while im going to pull them again and check the housing to make sure its not melting or anything funky.

It appears your setup is like mine. The driver side points slightly lower.

Im looking at getting them all in 5K but it seems like Vleds is always out of stock... I wish they would allow to atleast add them to the cart until they came in.. Funny thing is,, they probably get them from China, just like everyone else and here we are swearing that the Vleds are any better than others. lol

These are the bulbs I need for my Lariat Screw w/ sunroof, but they have a bunch of different choices for each bulb #.. Which ones do I get ?

Dome 578
Map 906
Tag 194
Back up 3156

Maps are #194s also but you got all the other numbers correct. For us Lariat with moon roof guys, here is our bulb #, and size list. Color is up to you on what model bulb you buy.
