Man, if only those beers could travel through the internet, out my computer and into my mouth. I'm getting thirsty right about now.

Yea, the gauge cluster uses 11 bulbs. I bought a pair of the first 2 bulbs and 6 pairs for the dash. I believe the a/c controls, door panels, etc. are talked about within the first couple pages of this thread.

Does anyone have a picture, or can take a picture of where the electronic flasher goes? I'm having trouble locating it. I looked under the driver side dash, and didn't see it. Is it in plain sight, or does it take some work to get to?

Okay. So I have a question. Yesterday when I was installing my new switchback turn signals, I also installed LED sidemarkers. I had the turn signal light unplugged, and the new sidemarker installed. I turned on my lights and the sidemarker worked. I turned on my hazards, and the sidemakers began function as a signal since the turn signal bulb was unplugged.
Is this a saftey feature incase a turn signal bulb goes out?
When I plugged the new LED switchback into its socket, the sidemarker began normal functions of staying on when the hazards were on.
I think the sidemarker would make a nice turn signal from factory in addition to the standard one located in the front of the head light. Just an idea.

No problem man. Glad I could help. I was just looking at the same thread. My switchbacks came in the mail today. Now I'm trying to kill time at work so I can get home and install them.

How do those switchbacks look with regular headlight bulbs in? I know if your running 6k HIDS they would look great but 6k switchbacks with regular bulbs, I would think, would look funny.

Yes, they look funny. I have Silverstars and my heads look extremely yellow with my 5k switchbacks. Retrofit projectors and HIDs are in the future though.
I use my switchbacks a lot as running lights so by themselves, they look great and are bright enough that some people think my lights are on.

Got the switchbacks and the flasher installed last night. Looks great but now every time I hit the brakes, my flasher ticks once. Any ideas? This is pretty annoying. Btw, I got the Tridon ep27 flasher from Advance that everyone recommended. Thanks for the help guys.

^^^ Does it do it every time you hit the brakes? Mine only does it once in a while and usually while I'm on the highway when I have to slow down when using cruise control. When I first got the flasher and told people about it in another thread, finestylef150 I think it was, was having the same problem. I don't know what to tell you man.

If it ticks from the brakes, it wont do it for a few minutes, then I hit them again and it ticks again. Do you or finestylef150 have LED tails? Ive got the stock ones and I wonder if that has anything to do with it. I might swing by Advance and see if they know anything (probably not). I guess I can always call Tridon and see if they have any suggestions.
