I know the scoop has to go. I was lookin into the keystone high rise hood but now I'm over it because I've seen too many f150's with it. It's the last piece of chrome that's really bugging me that I need to ditch asap but I don't have any ideas for somethin new. I want to replace the grille too but again don't have an idea with what direction to go. Plus, I need to work on other pressing things, like replacing u joints, a realignment... again, and better stronger upper control arms I might make myself out of chromium molybdum.

bumper looks great. you have a real talent to be able to lay that down on paper and just go with it.

Powdercoating is done. Just need to find another pair of lights and powdercoat the shackles.

Already started. I took the rear bumper off and traced out the lines I need to match up with the body

Now this I'll be VERY interested in seeing. I've been mulling over ideals for a while now. I want something very functional for recovery.

Front bumper does look damn sharp.

Sounds like you have a lot of work ahead of you. The bumper turned out great, looking forward to the new rear addition. Keep us posted on what all you come up with. Happy new year!!

Does anyone have a rear winch bumper with pics? I'd prefer the 04 - 08 body style but others might help. I've seen some on the internet but I need a straight shot from directly behind the vehicle. I'm making one for the back to compliment the one I made up front. I'm gonna try and fab up a swing away tire carrier as well that mounts to the bumper. This will prove difficult since it will not only have to obviously clear the tailgate and license plate but it will have to be extremely beefy to accommodate a 37"+ tire and possibly a gas can or 2.

i just drew up a back bumper. i am gonna start on it this next week hopefully. although i am doing a different approach. i am doing 2 rear winches. one on each side and built into the bumper and bolted to the frame. i am looking at two 6k winches for each side. i know it doesn't help right now but if you still need it in a few weeks i can help then.

Why would you need two winches? Just for the angles ?

Not to be dim but couldn't you just achieve the same basic principal with a good hook and pulley block and two D-rings?

Also, killer bumper, OP, I can't wait to see what you rig up for the rear.
