Sorry I'm late. Appendix surgery recovery is kicking my ***. Below is a crap ton of disorganized pictures of my Boondock Bumper on my 04. I love this thing. It started out with the stock powdercoat, but I had it Line-X'ed. It's already been in one accident and has taken no damage. It's 175lbs. No winch yet, but I'm working on it. No hurricanes ever came, so I've slowed down on the recovery equipment purchases.

It's a solid piece of awesomeness. It's based on Impact9's design, minus some special additions for his rig and the hood guard.

Here I am over 2 months later and the bumper is pretty much done, all the hard stuff anyway. I still have to make the ports for the lights; I know I want a pair of 4" diameter fog lights and then I want another pair of slightly smaller lights... maybe 3" in diameter? Does anyone have any suggestions on any 4" fog lights and as well as for the other pair of lights. The fog lights will be wired using my factory fog light wiring. The smaller pair of lights will just be some off road lights wired to the battery. I also ran into another issue. I took apart the front end today, can't use the factory mounts to mount the new bumper. I have a 3" body lift and the factory mounts had holes drilled into them to accommodate this for my stock bumper but it just won't fly with the new bumper. Everything does line up correctly, I just have to make some new mounts and cut off the old ones. No biggie. I'll do this tomorrow. I would like to tackle fabbing the housing for the lights but I really need to decide on the lights I'm gonna use so suggestions are needed asap!

Thanks! I spent more money than I wanted on plate, cutting wheels, flapper wheels, welding stuff. Gotta give a butt load of credit to my buddy and his skills on the flow jet machine for putting my measurements/drawings into the computer and flowing out most of the pieces. But I know what lights I'm gonna use for the fog lights - smoked fogs made for the 09 jeep wrangler jk. They are 4" in diameter and look really easy to mount. But I still need to find out what type of slightly smaller lights I'm gonna use for the other pair of lights. Im not posting any more pics til the thing is all done from sheetmetal bending to cutting to welding to fit up to powdercoat to light installation to finished product. I also ran into the problem of how I'm gonna retain my bushwacker pocketstyle fender flares. The ends will have to be trimmed about 5 inches to meet up with the top of bumper corners.
