does anyone know where i can get a 06+ bumper (not chrome) for a decent price? i recently hit a car (my fault) and have a dent the size of my palm under the driver side fog. so instead of fixing it, i want to get a new bumper.

 

Why not go with an aftermarket bumper with a little more "meat"?

yea the auto salvage up here wants 300 bucks for a whole bumper assembly, gonna be way cheaper than parting all the stuff together for the swap.

 

ooohh im gonna try my junkyard. i had forgotten. maybe i can work out a trade with them. i really dont care wat color its painted, im still gonna end up painting it. i just dont want a chrome one. i know newtakeoffs have them at 250 but there chrome..

 

? if i have an 04, will a bumper from and 06 or higher fit? I would think they do. Tossing around the idea of going with the round fog light look instead of the rectangular. Also going silver instead of the darker gray that i now have.

If you do get a chrome one, you can have it powder coated to match your paint. So I wouldn't worry either way, & as said get the mounts also, 04 - 05 & 06 - 08 have different mounts with the bumpers.

 

i want to thank everyone for there comments about the mounts, and paint and what not. i greatly appreciate it.. ( i dont want to sound like a d*k)but i already know that the mounts are diffrent.. im just trying to find a place were i can find the bumper itself. if the bumper dosnt come with the mounts i will be getting the mounts from the dealer. anyone want to buy a 04 bumper,brackets, tinted fogs? lol.

Don't waste your money. I purchased one of those eBay knockoffs not too long ago and it was a POS. It's not OEM quality.
