I'll chime in too - wicked mod. I had been working out something like this in my head for a bit, thinking it would be handy when my arms are full and I need the tailgate down to load. I was guessing I'd need a door popper to give the tailgate that initial "push" to start it opening. Guess it didn't need any help?

o and i do have a button on my kick panel to open it too, not sure if i mentioned that
Nifty setup, works pretty cool in theory.
Say your carring a flat cart full of plywood, you have to stop and open the tailgate to load. Now you just press a button, and the tailgate drops automatically waiting to engulf the plywood!
And dont worry no need to lift the gate, the 4X8 sheets hold it open just fine!
Damn 5.5 ft boxes.
Besides, all cars come with remote trunk open, but no remote trunk close...
On a different note, AZ im still debating on which alarm to get too.
I wanted the old CA series... now with the new models i dont know what to pick. Does your 671 have the telematics port? (for the phone operation module?) Travis seems busy, so i dont want to fire off an email when im still not quite ready to purchase.

also i believe the higher end models dont work with the door keypad which i use alot....
I've already decided on that one. I think I'll just order it and not worry about the discount (if there is one). If he's working 20 hour days I wont bother him with me trying to save a few bucks.
