Correct HID bulbs for 07 150?

I know the headlights are supposed to be the H13 bulb, but I don't know about the fogs. I've read 9005/9145 or 9140. I don't want to have problems with my fog lenses burning up either, as I've read the 9005/9145's are actually a high beam bulb?

I wouldn't buy an HID kit that costs less than $100.... The saying comes to mind...You get what you pay for...Yes H13 is headlights and the fog's will be bright so stick with 9145... 9005 will fit but most likely be too bright and over power the headlights... Just my .02

I had 9005 on fog lights with the silverstars and my housing has melted a little bit... I know HID's are cooler... but they are still going to be brighter than ***** so stick with the 9145...

Fogs for those trucks with the round fog lights are 9140, not 9140. Only the 04 and 05 use the 9145.

Really... hmm... That's interesting... But 9145 and 9005 still fit...

Yes but on the 06-07 those same bulbs would melt the lenses. Much smaller internal area in the light and closer to the lens.

Read on about the 9005 in the round fogs.

Those with the older style rectangular fogs do not seem to have the issue. Some with the round fogs have.
