I think the number was 9005 for the fogs. They aren't the ones that are recommended but they are a high beam silverstar that fits and they work great. Do a search on here, F150Truckin' figured this one out for us.

. . and didn't some have problems with the "brighter model" bulbs burning their lenses?

The 9140 is the recommended model by Sylvania for the fogs.

The 9005 is the headlight [brighter] model that'll fit.

Many have had issues with this, but I'm one who has not.

I may have missed it but I don't recall anyone having trouble with this bulb. No problems at all in mine and they have been in since the silverstars became available. And they are very bright!

Wasn't it just people with the newer "round" foglights that were having problems?

Yupperooni - my right one has just started to develop a slight hazy spot.

Not enough volume/surface area as the older square type to dissipate the heat buildup. Back to 9140/45's - crap. Either that or get some quartz lenses lol!

Hi.

Last time I checked there was no H13 Ultra available.

I'm sure there will be eventually.....

But I thought I read somewhere you could use like a 9007 or something, instead of the stock H13.

I can't! That's why I asked the question. I'm hoping someone knows if it's possible.
