brighter bulbs
What brand of bulbs do you guys suggest for brighter bulbs. i have seen hoen before they seem ok. i have also heard about silverstars. without spending alot.

Yeah Silverstars work like a gem, just two sets... one for the fogs and one for the low/high beams.

Silverstars are good lamps. Decent improvement, a whiter and somewhat brighter lamp, that is still a DOT approved lamp. Just realize that these higher output or whiter/brighter lamps have a shorter lamp life. As one who drives 42 - 45K miles per year, I only get 12 to maybe 15 months out of these before one fails.
Sylvania should be releasing the Silverstar Ultra in an H13 configuration later this year, so you may want to wait. There are claimed to have a longer lamp life, and if I remember correctly "maybe" a little more output. |
