Pop's FX2--Nice choice Dad

My Dad treated himself to a Black FX2 SuperCrew several months back and I just got through installing a trailer brake control in it and giving it a wash and wax for Father's Day.

We swapped trucks last Friday for a few days. I've driven his truck a couple of times before this but haven't really "road tested" it until now. I like it as much as mine (a black '06 Xlt SuperCab 5.4L) and that's saying something.

Happy Father's Day Dad. I hope you wear this truck out and a lot more of 'em after it.

The FX2's are nice looking trucks.

What kind of trailer brake controller did you install?

Yup! Fx2's are sweet! They turn head when your driving.

baja150-It's a draw-tite Activator II control that was installed.

5.4 LARIAT-I've seen that picture of your FX2 somewhere on here before. Your's is the nicest FX2 I've seen to date...color, wheel/tires choice and all.

Those are all the other F-150 owners like me that wish their truck came with those headlights, grill, painted mirrors, and door handles.

We went up to the dealer about two weeks ago with every intention of buying a Lariot for my wife. We were looking at a couple of them when we passed a black FX2. She loved the exterior that looked totally customized compared to every other F150 (excluding Harley). The wheels she loved too. Then we opened the door and saw the custom black leather interior w/ red stitching. Needless to say, we are driving an FX2 now

It was a little less expensive than the Lariot, I got out of having to buy her the 20" wheels cause she loves the FX2 18s and the truck w/o a doubt is a head turner compared to most other 'off the lot' trucks on the road.

Two weeks old now and we couldn't be happier with it!

Yup the FX2 comes with 18" cast alum wheels stock. I did see several that came with the Ford optional 20" wheels. I like the Ford 20"s but the FX2 18"s are really good looking IMO and unique to this model.
