Yep, it's true... I bought something without knowing if it would work for my application, but I couldn't pass up the deal. I bought a set of brand new 2007 Expedition wheels that have never had tires mounted on them for $200 shipped. I assumed the Expedition used the same backspacing on their wheels as the F-150.

The wheels are 17 x 8 with a 6.25 backspace and 44mm offset.
I was planning on mounting 315/70R17 or 35x12.50R17 tires on them w/ a 4-6" suspension lift.
How bad are they going to rub?

Anyways, it's a long story about where I got them, but basically I have a good friend who owns a tire store in a bad part of town and "people" call him trying to sell stuff quick sometimes. If you'd like I could talk to him next week and see if he can get any more, but I'm going to guess he'd charge a stranger at least $250.
Thanks for the info about swapping the Lariat wheels on to the Expedition. Is the backspacing the same on the Lariat wheels as the Expedition? For some reason I was thinking the Lariat wheels and other F-150 wheels had a 5.5" backspace.
