you can't get one of those "old" style spacers from them anymore. looks like you were a victim of R&D on the road

I've had my tires fully stuff and fully drooped since the install. there has not been any contact or noise. as long as you get the offset spacer, you're fine.
All I wanted Auto Spring to do was give me a set of the new offset spacers. The guy who owns the company came onto this message board and basically told me that I was S.O.L. and I should get over it. I swore that I would never buy another Auto Spring product and that I would tell everyone I could about the bad experience that I had with Auto Spring. Yes, I had one of the original sets of spacers. Yes, after buying them I got onto several sites like this and talked about how great they were. Yes, they were still on my F150 when I traded it in last week. I am currently looking for a levelling kit for my 2008 F250 and will probably go with Donohoe. Donohoe also makes spacers for the F150 and the Hellbent spacers on eBay look much nicer than the Auto Springs. There is way too much competition in the aftermarket automotive industry to ever treat a customer badly...especially one who never forgets and has a really loud mouth!

In the day and age where information is king, and it spreads like wildfire, ANY business that has competition, cannot afford to provide anything less than stellar customer service.

I own the Autospring offset leveling kit, and am very happy with it. But if I got the kind of reply from them that you did, I would do the same as you. That hasn't been the case. I have had nothing but good service from them.

The Hellbent spacer does look good, and it looks easier to get a socket onto to get your torque right on the coil over assembly. If I had it to do over again, I might have gone with that, or Top Gunz Customz spacers had I read your replies first...

To be honest though. You are the only person I have ever seen post anything even remotely negative regarding Autospring, and every business is going to tick off a couple of customers. Some people just can't be made happy... So it is Autospring giving lousy customer service, or a pain in the tail customer? I don't know, I am not going to take sides. Just offering possibilities.

Perhaps you can post your correspondence with Autospring and let folks see what you are talking about.

Hehe. That's an old fight that ended a long time ago. I will never expect to sway the sheep on this site from their admiration of Autospring. It's a lost cause. They provide a really CHEAP method of doing what everyone with a truck wants...put on bigger tires. Of course there are better ways, but they are much more difficult and much more expensive. As I previously stated, I never bothered to take off my Autospring because it just was not worth it. I will be much more thoughtful when modding my new 6.4L beast.
