The AutoSpring leveling kit is cheaper and shipping is free.

NO, do NOT get the 3" leveling kit. It will make the front of your truck sit higher than the rear. You will have to add-a-leaf to the rear-end or use lift blocks to get an even stance

this is a better product, and it works really well. I have the 2.5" on my truck right now. Plus, it's $90, vs the $100+ for the one you posted.

I agree with both posts above this one. I used the 2.5" Autospring and it is perfect.

stay clear from autospring. But go with the 2.5" just use someone else. I used readylift and I'm happy.

Care to say why? I had the 2.5" AS kit on my truck for about 13k miles prior to my lift and had absolutely ZERO problems. It's fine to say what your's is and say why you like it, but just telling someone to stay away from brand X without any reasoning doesn't help that person very much.

The AS is a great kit and is a very easy install. Highly recommend.

x2

I've had this kit on since Feb. of 2005 and have put more than 30K miles on the truck since. No issues with the unit itself or suspension problems. My advice on size is that if you want perfectly level get the 2.5" or if you still want a little rake opt for the 2.0". Either way make sure you get an alignment done soon after the install.

BTW I didn't notice any "settling out" after the install so buy accordingly

How come some of the 2.5 AS kits seem to still have a rake? Maybee its me though. The one in the link I posted seems pretty level?

I have the 2.5" kit and mine sits dead level all the way around, 40.75" to the fender flare on all corners with my airbags empty, and 41.5" in the rear with 20psi in the bags. Some trucks with the 2.5" kit will actually sit nose high, where as others are level like mine. About the only way that a truck could still have any rake with the 2.5" kit is if someone has put in either an AAL, bigger rear block, or airbags.

I would put in another vote for the Autospring, 8000 problem free miles for me!

Base it off how much rake you have now. I'm starting to believe that something is different about the 07's from the previous years. They just don't seem to have as much rake to them. ??????

I put on 2" Autospring on my 2007, which raised me up approx. 2.5" and now my front is a hair higher than my rear.

If you get one, definitely go with the Autospring or similar type that bolts to the top of the coilover.

my truck sits about dead level. I haven't actually gone out with a tape measure yet, but the 2.5" makes her look even.

the 2004-2007 are the same. Ford hasn't changed anything with the drivetrain yet. Are you sure got a 2" leveling kit? also, do you haul any really heavy loads. I've read about some guys who have had the rear-end settle after towing heavy trailers and/or bed full of stuff.

I'm sure! I have installed 4 sets now on the 04-07 trucks and every set lifted the front more than advertised. My truck is also a 2007 (2 weeks old) so it is not sagging.
I know there is no difference in the drivetrains, but it is an observation of mine that the '07s do not seem to have as much rake as the older ones, such as the 05 FX4 I just sold.

Ok,

is this the only reason not to use the 3" that the rear will be lower? I am planning on putting an AAL in the rear....so, I can go with that right>
