Red face Mud and more MUD!!

Damm!t,
I didn't have my camera, but dag-gone this mud/sand/whatever nonsense they have here in NC is awful.
Spent some time today sorta plinking around in some water... then saw this awesome mudhole... yeah, so awesome that I changed my mind, went to go around it and then the ground sorta gave way and I was sunk and listing to the right..... some jerk has it on pic as they stopped, shot a pic, and left!!!! Looked like captain morgan with less water and more tipped on its side!

Luckily a big logging machine of some sort lumbered by and was able to yank me out!!! I was sooooo embarassed.... and the MP's drove by twice without stopping either!!!!

oh well, I don't know if I'll ever venture off again.... that stuff was freakin' quicksand!!!!! The small amount of dirt doesn't even begin to convey the mess I was in.... buried to the gills!!!

I had a similar experience, i tried to drive around a plya lake around here and the ground looked dry, my a$$. I started sinking and sliding in. the water and muck came up to the bottom of the door and i was hoping it wouldnt come any farther. luckily i had my tow strap and axle straps. called my bro w/ his 99 f150 to pull me out, luckily he wasnt far off cause i was still sinking. good luck cleaning her up, i just broke out the powerwasher and then gave it a wash later that week, im not much for cleaning every nook and cranny.

I hear ya, I read your post. I haven't been on in a while and read it while catching up! I just hope I can get the pic, the wrecker guy took with his phone. That's the bad part, I was so close to the main road that every passerby could see, honk, yell, etc!!

Amazing how such little mud to show for such a huge mess!!!!

This guy got actual mud on his truck. It doesn't look like he went down to the store and back.
