nothing to exciting but I was leaving the gym and as I was waiting to make a left turn a camo'd (assuming) 08 superduty supercab drove past followed by a duelie Saw all the extra gear inside for testing etc had lots of **** covering the front end so couldn't really see much.

I wish I had my camera I would of followed and snapped some pics

I saw one at the Int'l Auto Show and I was quite impressed. Some of it may take a bit to get used to, but the overall VERY bold design was impressive. I heard several random adult males talking about how "manly" it looked haha.

Nothing, and I mean NOTHING will even compare to it on the road when it comes to looking big, bold, and though (IMO).

 

The Truck Is Hideous IMO. well the front clip atleast. everything else looks perty good....some sketchy aspects on the interior i think...but other then that...pretty damn good.
Ford is runnig out of ideas.....they are slapping those fender vents on EVERYTHING

 

i fully agree.. i like 07s front end way more then the new 08s

yeah...I like it...the interiors look real nice.

 

yeah, the twin turbo 6.4L is the only part of the truck I truely like over the current one.

I already want one, around 2010 so the bugs are worked out of the 6.4 (remember when the 6.0 came out?). I am not sold on the front end style just yet but I cant judge it untill I see it in person. Honestly I thought the 04+ f-150s where ugly when I saw the pics, but once I saw one on the lot, I had to have one.

Plus, if it is really ugly, you can always swap the current trucks front clip on it, which does look better IMO.

 

That is what I said to myself when I saw the truck. Could've done way better.

I love the new Super Duty Ive always wanted one. When the F-150 crapps out on me Im getting one.

 

the tail lights are diff too. basically the same shape and all...but they are different.

plus the Ford signature "slap a quarter panel on every vehicle" vent.

the whole front clip is different. look above the headlights how it curves down now. the grille is like the tundra....HUGE surround....barely any actual girlle.

If you can design a better truck why dont you start throwing out your ideas and shaping some clay?


On topic, its a "bold" front end but like everything, it will grow on me. They always look better in picture. Has anyone seen the 08 silveradoes?? Now thats something to make you puke......

I've seen it in person, and it is similar, but also have definite changes that make it look much bolder than the previous trucks.

 

This truck isnt even available yet and fabtech has a 10in lift already.

It is on the cover of one of the 4wd magazines i saw at 7-11
