From my day at the GREAT State Fair of Texas, it's better looking in person than in pictures. (OK, not much, but a little.)

I started to snare a shot or two of the interior but, I thought that may be a little 'bold' of me... the guy (or girl) had a bunch of 'stuff' in there that looked to be 'personal' versus 'business'. Based on the MI plates, I'd say that they were down for a assembly 'visit'... not sure if they're in a retool out there yet but, it has to be close.

I guess it will "grow" on me, but it's gonna have to, at least from the front end pic.

They've already retooled and are producing them. They should be shipping soon...maybe this week pending QC approval.

Wasn't the boss (webmaster - Steve(?)) going to be here in San Antonio for some sort of Superduty media day? I wonder how that went, if it went on at all.

new Ford front ends

I agree with some of the earlier posts. Some of the newer Ford front ends are pretty bad. It started with the Fusion, which I think looks really clean and attractive. But somehow Ford messed it up with their Explorer and a few of their other vehicles. They took the 3 bar grille that was getting so much praise on the Fusion, and mangled it when putting it on the Explorer, Sport Trac, et al. The Super Duty looks fine to me, I'm glad to see they didn't add, for example, a HUGE swath of unbroken chrome like on the Explorer, which just looks as hideous as the Titan when it came out with way too much unbroken chrome on the front end. To me the only fronts that ford hasn't screwed up are the Fusion and '08 Superduty. Oh and maybe the Edge, they did a nice job with that (gotta love the Vista Roof). Let's hope they take all the best for the '09 F-150.

I like everything but the mirrors and how the grille says SUPER DUTY on it.
