I agree, they are one of the ugliest trucks soon to be on the road. I enjoy the current model year superduty the most.

slap a good grille guard w/ headlight bars, and it'll look good enough.

Dissappointed in power!?! It's stepping into Class 8 territory.

The new diesel puts out 350 hp @ 3,000 rpm and 650 ft/lbs of torque starting @ 2,000. Those numbers are due to strick new diesel emissions requirements otherwise they would be drastically higher. Slap an edge turner on there (when they become available) and you'll probably be putting out 500hp and damn near 800 ft lbs of torque for just a few hundred dollars.

Oh and if the kiddies can't stop their bickering...this thread probably won't last longer than tonight.

the 08 SD is awesome, I like the looks.

Some cool features too, like the tailgate with a slide out step, power telescoping mirrors and the slick bed extender that folds out of the way. I hope these features make it to the new F-150 when it debuts next year.

Ive now made my mind up your an idiot.

For one thing, back to your comment of only having 300 hp....the PRELIMINARY released specs are at 350hp and 650tq. Do you really think they will release the "ALL NEW SUPERDUTY with less hp and torque as the current models?????????????????? Its all about marketing bud

That's seems pretty low. Shoot, my f150 sticker had $37,000 on it.

I think the new SD front end has a little "Clark Griswold" Family-Truckster look to it. Something about the lights...

i dont care much for the top of the chrome grill that says superduty, it looks odd and looks like they had to stretch it out

OMG you hit it right on the head! I knew i've seen that before. Like I said in my other post in this topic, those headlights?!?!

The interior is nice (pretty much like an F-150), but Ford needs to due something about the outside. Take a look at the body, not much change except for the front-end.
