Last update :

MonsterBox torque-converter it's not holding the power at full-throttle.
Truck needs a 3 plate torque converter .

Glad to hear it's coming together. Wish I could see the beast once you get the torque converter issue dealt with. Let us know how it turns out.

11 pounds of boost only ! Sounds good ?? Undertuned because of the fault torque converter !

This truck is just simply a beast! with a triple plate lock up convertor it will make just as much or more than a built Whippled Lightning!

The fact of Rafa's truck having 4.56 gears and the wonderful 3 Valve heads, make more power than a built Whipple Lightning is a must.

With proper equipment and everything else, what is the max boost you are going to be running Rafa? What HP and Torque numbers are you gunning for?

And JDM....where would I be able to get GOOD 3v heads?

With the new pulley system we put together Rafa's truck should be every bit capable of 20+ psi. That would probably equate something around 700 RWHP 800 TQ but the only limits will be what fuel is used...

If you want some info on the same heads we used in Rafa's build and all our 3V engines give us a call at 732-780-0770, ask for me id be glad to help with any info you need! I just installed a set of these same heads on a 300 cu in 4.6 block with 11.5:1 compression that im building fpr my car (06 Mustang GT automatic). I hope to see close to 400 RWHP Naturally aspirated!

Don't know yet man, i have to fix the torque converter issue first and get the numbers with 20PSI+ after the engine break in period.
