Here is JDM's latest response via email. I always thought highly of JDM, it's a shame I've lost that. I do like that they are saying they won't let it go until everything is perfect. I am curious to see how honest this reply is.

Josiah,

I know everyone is waiting but with all the custom parts we needed to make and have others make that did not exist took alot of time. All the parts are here and we are working on it now still. Its not leaving untill its perfect bottom line. We dont just throw projects together we make them works or Art. Also his motor has been in and running since october when his orignal plan was to just get that in then go to texas for twin turbos. He can complain how long its been here but when you add parts that dont exist a month after the truck is dropped off it takes alot, alot of time and he needs to understand that and stop beating us up. The time we spend trying to explain ourselves on the internet takes time away from his own truck. He just needs to understand that when parts dont exist they arent developed overnight. Besides that this thing is going to be a beast, it will make over 500 for his breakin tune and if he wants to use race fuel we can make over 600 once he gets his break in period done with.

it's an email they give out to several of us. About 800 posts ago someone posted the contact info to help get his project moving. You get pretty damn annoying, I'm glad you're here to help other members rather than be on my case post after post...oh wait.

Wow. I don't recall Rafa26 beating them up, or complaining too much, at least not on here. Why did they continue to give dates for completion when they did not have the parts? I don't like how they blame the customer.

I'd still love to hear the list of parts that had to be made... Again, I'm sure that Rousch idler bracket took a good bit of convincing on someone's part to get...and that Ford idler pulley must be one of those 'unobtanium' pieces that Ford clandestinely only lets out to their best Motorsports customers. I looked at the invoice pretty closely and I didn't see anything that struck me as unusual or worthy of six months worth of CNC'ing or TIG'ing.

Hahahaha, well I hate to burst ur bubble, but as of 2005 MB dropped included scheduled maintenance for some ungodly reason and it's all customer pay.....AND the CLK500 is no more, it's now the CLK550 with the new '273' 5.5L 382hp engine. Not trying to be a smart ***, lol...just edjumacating a little bit.

You are 100% right Rambo !! How can JDM blame on a gentleman like Rafa ??

Rafa has more patience than 50 of us together !! Wait 8 months and no truck yet !! What do you want JDM ????

I don't like how JDM blame the customer either !!
