Got owned!

So yea me and my dumb friend were chillin at a light and this brand new stang GT came up beside me...he totally eye ******ed the hell out of my truck so I figured I would show him whats under the hood. I rev'd up my truck and he acknowledged so we took off...I was surprised I beat him off the line and stayed up with him until about 50 mhp then he took off. I was stoked I kept up that long and he was surprised also. But I still got owned!

I don't think even with my mods I would keep up with the new GT's to 50mph. They are pretty quick, I've only driven the stick but I loved chirping them gears. I need to put my stockers back on to get a flashback of what my lowend used to be like. Then again I hated when people doubted my stories, I had no reason to make them up and neither do you.

On that note, I hate when people eye**** me because 90% of the time they turn to their friend and try to convince them of how mommy paid for it or daddy lifted it...****.

I'd be ticked if I owned a mustang and an F-150 hung with me until about 50.

From the time I'd hit the gas I'd want that beast in my rear view mirror.

But, he has an Alpine and had it on. Plus, he has a custom beer opener, that there is worth 25 HP.

There's a blown 05-06 GT here in town.. Spoke with the guy one time for a few minutes... after he left, he got on it and he was GONE!

He also has alot of other mods on it too to compliment his Vortech.

After looking at his car, I'd like to sell my truck and get one...

Haha. I get that all the time Josiah. They always ask how much mommy paid for it and bla bla bla. And Bluejay...they add like 46 horsepower! I know this was a V8 GT...I just dont think the douchebag driving knew how to shift gears too well.

Sounds like he really couldn't drive. I raced a 05 F-150 in my girlfriends V6 Mustang 5 spd and it was over for the F-150. . :o

that guy must drive like crap. I think he should have owned you earlier if he was actually trying to race you. A guy down the street from me owns a new mustang gt and he made it look like the roush but I dont think it is one. These mustangs are starting to make me almost wish I had spent that 30K on a pony:o ...But I like my truck

He might have been fighting to get traction. My mach1 on street tires (without heating them up) won't hook up at all through the first 2 gears....

He was getting traction...I didnt hear any squeals or anything. I really just think his mommy bought him the car and he didnt know how to drive it.

I think with some of these stories, the other party wasn't even trying to race. They're just driving normal or twidling their thumbs at the light, and somehow they mistake that the other party wants to race.
