Just admit that its possible, now im not saying on paper, with both drivers being the best. Just saying on the street with a young kid not knowning everything about how to drive his car. IT IS POSSIBLE!

Sure it's possible. I covered that in my post. However, it does not mean your truck is capable of hanging with a Mustang at any speed. It means the driver of the truck was better than the driver of the Mustang.

Heck, I could outrun a Top Fuel dragster in the 1/4 mile if the driver was an idiot and didn't know where the gas pedal was. But there is no point in coming here to say "OMG I outran a Top Fuel dragster today!!!" because no one else can expect the same results. It would be a fluke.

I talked to him and he said he missed a shift, instead of putting it into 1st he went into 3rd.

Thats sounds about right! haha. Plus he also told me he was on the phone with his mommy asking her to make some tots for dinner!

The exact same thing happend to me today...except i was on the other side Needless tgo say i smoked em. It was an 05 LARIAT. I however know how to drive...with the traction button on there is very little slippage going from 1st to second. You might have hung with him its possible...
