Just got my fans installed. I did everything but the switch because I dont have a drill that can hold the 1/2'' bit. I got all the wiring for the switch. The temp probes dont seem like they want to stay in there too well. Does anybody have any suggestions. The fans run like a champ but causes a little vibe sometimes when you just turn on your ignition w/o the motor. If anybody wants pics, I can do that. Most of the time was wiring and making it look pretty. If anybody has any good suggestions about the probes, help me. Is there a high temp sticky substance that can be used on the radiator w/o breakdown and smell.

I'd like some pics if you don't mind. I'm mostly wondering about controller placement and how you got to the fuse box and make it all look good. I'm polling everyone as I can't install mine until Monday I should have just about every way to do it.

My fans are going in tomorrow (finally!). I've been bored and went out to the truck and mentally installed them about 15 times now so I think I've got it but did anyone actually end up doing a write up? Pics xplorgee?

I got some copper gasket stuff that can stand up to 700 degrees. I dabbed a little on the probes. You can pull them out but they wont fall out. Thats all that matters. I like the fans but one creates a bit of vibe. I also found that the fans turn on at different temps sometimes. Its really weird. I was there are markings with temps. im using my edge to check my temps.

When setting the temp for the e-fans I know I can use the Edge but which monitor am I looking at and what should the "normal operating temp" be?

Normal ECT is 194* to 206*F on my truck. I have seen it go to 210*F when towing the travel trailer up hill.

So, use the ECT than the EOT. I used the EOT at first but am not sure which one I should use. Temp still doesnt go about 200 on my ECT. Its about 90 today.
