I went with FAL's but I am switching out the controller for the mad Controller, I like it's functionality better. You could also put together a kit yourself and there is a group buy going on through Jusnes right now. http://jusnesmodified.com/store/inde...ndex&cPath=411

Do a search and you can find a lot of options. Good luck, it's a great mod.

deffinatly go with the jusnes i have done buissness with them before and they have the best customer service i have ever experienced, just email them or post on thier forum calling, in the past has made some customers mad because they dont answer because it is just 2 guys taking care of the company after they get home from doing construction work, that and they have the best prices and best fans

installation? regarding various fan kits

Is it a perty simple install and does it mount solid with nuts and bolts? Can anyone tell me how the various other fan kits mount? I thought i read somewhere on here the Troyer kit mounts with zip ties, is this true? So, i guess i really wanted to know which one has the most bang for the buck, installs the easiest, and has a solid mount, oh and is reliable and sturdy.

thanks again fer your opinions and advice

well they are not exactly fip ties but very similar and that is what they all use and have been using for years they work fine. if you want though you could rig up some solid mounts

btw the group buy on jusnes is down to $240

Installation with the Troyer fans is pretty tedious and the mounting method used has caused many problems for offroaders and street queens alike, good luck on your choice.

what else is needed for the junes group buy? Do I still need a controller? SnowmaNick is buying a new controller for his FAL setup. If there is a controller included, is it a good one?

The fans on Troyer's website mention a tool for measuring temperatures. Is that needed for this kit as well?
