ok my oppinion on the efans is they are not worth the price troyer charges however for the price of that group buy a few weeks ago and even for the regular price on jusnesmodified.com they are worth it and the extreamly colder a/c is very worth it

i started on mine at about 9 at night

i used 2-3 rolls of wire each being i think about 15 feet but could probably get away with 1-2 if you dont do the manual switch and this is with mounting the controlers on the drivereside

i mounted a manual switch just for the heck of it

use the number 1 fuse

i ordered some prewired led's from www.oznium.com

a/c is much colder

What gauge wire did you use? I was going to order some but didnt know what I should get and how much current the LEDs, switch and ignition wire would push. Did you use any diodes?

anybody know if the 2004 4.6L fan has a clutch? shouldn't this minimize the engine load at highway speed?

the turn on temp i just left it where it was in the instructions it says it is set at 160 then turned up the second one a bit

if you look at your ac compressor there are 2 wires coming out of it follow those up and they will budle up with some other wires but i cut open the loom at the valve cover(passenger side) and it is the gray and white wire

Fans are in my city per the local shipper. Woo hooo. Spent about 50 bucks in parts from Radio shack. There expensive but the only place around here. LEDs, wires, switch, splicers, butt connectors. They add up quick. Ill try to make a picture install write up when I start. Try is the key.

just finished my install about an hour ago....didn't notice any real seat-of-the-pants differance....does seem to have a bit more low end torque....only went around the block....shall report back after a full tank is burnt....

biggest thing I did notice was condensation on my dash vents ....A/C is noticably colder while sitting idling....which the reason I wanted the e-fans

sorry no piccies....bloody camera battery went t*ts up.....

so if 210' is ideal....what temp do you set the fans to turn on to maintain 210'....
