Talking EDGE Evolution intitial impressions

WOW!!

What a difference from stock! I have it on level 2 because I have a full tank of 87 and I can't wait to get the 93 in the tank for level 3!

Easy to install, instructions are easy to follow and very straight forward. First thing that I noticed is the transmission lag is almost gone. I hit the gas and it responds very quickly compared to stock.

I know this is still a big heavy truck and not a sports car, but it really feels like a completely different vehicle. I'll probably go through the custom program and gradually change some perameters, but for now i'l get through this tank and enjoy the difference!

Can't you put it on level 3 with 87 octane? Overall it sounds great, thanks for letting us know. I hope more people put their impressions on here. Looking forward to getting mine..

Level 3 requires 91 or higher because of the aggressive tuning. I can't wait to burn through this tank.

Prior Planning Prevents **** Poor Performance

Mounting is easy, I used the velcro instead of the 3M double sided tape. If need be I can remove the entire housing and unit.

I'm just quoting the manual. I'm sure you can run 87 on level 3, but it says "required", so I'll be a good boy and follow the manual for now.

The engineers and beta testers have run level 3 with 87 but for the best performance you should run 91/93.

Guys - I really wish I had something to add here.....but am so excited to receive my Edge unit - I can't resist posting....Nick....running 87 octane with the Level 3 Performance tune - no pinging? Sounds like there is a bit more power to be had by adjusting the timing with the Level 3 Performance Tune - IF you are going to use 91 octane??

We just had a group buy. The order was placed with totallycustomtruck.com they might still give you the discounted price but if not they have a coupon that brings it down to 365.28
