The rims are stock, no problems. With a different offset/backspacing, there might be some problems.

I understand now...I guess it just doesn't bother me that much. I just hate the little clunk.

Autospring is the leveling kit that contains the bushings correct? Where you have to disassemble the strut? I have the EZLift, (spacer only) and i havent seen or heard any rubbing, denting or clanking of any sort. Ill give it a thorough look through tomorrow... man, that sucks for everyone with Autosprings kits.

It won't be as bad if you don't do any offroading. I do offroad so I think that only made it worse.

If your going to look at it, your going to need to take the wheel off to see any of the damage.

Nope, just a 1 5/8" spacer on top of the strut.

I think the problems are with the 2" block, the 1 5/8" blocks are ok, at least mine is and I do a lot of offroading. Autospring even warns that the 2" block may bind.

Read again. Mine was the 1 5/8" thick spacer that lifted the front 2 1/4". I thought mine was OK too but it proved me wrong over time.

The clearance of the control arms and the sharper angles are the reasons I decided not to install the 2" Autospring kit I bought. I sold it and put 2" drop shackles on instead.

Thumper,

I wouldn't worry too much about pricing the factory springs, especially if you're going to do a full lift later on down the road. I've noticed some "rubs" on my coils too, but I plan on doing the Fab-tech w/coils so I'm not overly concerned.....not concerned at all.

I think I'll go check mine over again, this time a little closer.
