Nope. I love my 5.5' feet bed.

 

Since I've bought my truck I've never once had a problem that the 5.5 couldnt' handle. It has been great.

In short....Yes I would have bought the 6.5 with my screw. More truck...(insert Tim Allen grunt)

 

I'm fine with it the way it is, but if they offered a 6'5" bed option when I got mine, 04, It definetly would of been a hard decision. And If they offered a 6' bed, I definetly would of got that over any length. I think a 6' bed is perfect.

 

Tough call. Id like to drive one first and see how it is getting around parking lots ect. I could always use the extra space hauling tools for work.

Yes I would have! That way I could fit my quad in without taking off the tailgate!

 

If it was offered when I bought my truck I probably would have purchased it, but now that I have had the 5.5 for over a year, I don't miss the longer bed. I think that the extra cab with the 5.5 is awesome. My feeling is that if you need the extra space you can keep the tailgate down, or you could have bought the extra cab with the longer bed or a f-250.

 

Nope. If I needed the bed AND interior room, I'd have gotten a SD 4 door w/ an 8ft bed. And powerstroke...

I would not, it is hard enough to park as it is. The bed extender more than makes up for the difference, IMO.

Hummm, there's a thought. Maybe I could fit my flatbottom boat in there with the tailgate shut...

 

That way you can fit one of these in your beds..

 

I would get the 6.5', the 5.5' is too small, put in a tool box and you are only left with 4'.
