Roush Installed

I finally got the Roush s/c charger installed! I love it to death and she whines like none other. The power gain is VERY noticeable and it is perfect all around. Eventhough it is "all good" I have two questions. After talking to the Roush guy that installed it, he told me that there is no need to "break it in" and that it was designed to rock and roll from the get go. Do you agree? Also, when It shifts from 2nd to 3rd it is a pretty hard shift. Should I be worried about blowing my rearend, or is this just normal. I have 3.73 gears and I thought it wasnt going to be a problem, what do you think?

PICS WILL BE POSTED IN ABOUT TWO HOURS

SWEEEEET!!! I wouldn't worry about break-in. Your motor is good to go, and it's not like the SC has many parts to 'break in'. I totally agree with them, just tromp on it! I wouldn't worry about blowing your rearend, I'd be more worried about the poor tranny with all those hard shifts.

D'ONT FORGET TO POST THAT VIDEO!!

Considering the SC kit alone costs over $5000, I am sure that the entire install was probably over $6000...I wish I had deep pockets!

Congrats!!!

Talk to Troyer about getting some tunes - he is aware of the Roush tunes and their shifting patterns.

What exactly do you mean by "whines like no other"? Can you hear it just cruising around?

Yes there right, there is no break in period for SC, thats the good thing about them. Install'em an pound the Sh** out of them. As far as the hard shifts I don't know about that, I would think it would be a little harder since you got all that power now.
