Ford man, you should have known better than to post about the Roush and not give some in depth dialogue or pictures as well..dont tease us ....especially when you post about something as cool as a supercharger...

SWEEEET!!!

Can't wait to get mine installed next year. The boys at Roush said the intercooler should be available around January, so I will be waiting until next year to get the full package. Keep us updated on how the truck handles.

I am sorry guys, I have been REAL buisy with filming and such.

Anyways, this is a video of my truck doing a couple drive by's, a burnout(which was crappy), and engine reving.

Roush Supercharged F150

This weekend I did a lot of racing and so far I have a video of me beating a modded eclipse and a modded accord. I have also raced a Eclipse Spyder GT, and absolutely killed it. I have raced two Titans (without camera) and they didnt even have a prayer. I am waiting for a hemi to pull up next to me. As for timeslips, I am taking it up to the tracks this wednesday. I will be recording my runs and I will let you know what times i get. My "kill" videos will be coming out later this month, once i compile and edit them.

ENJOY

asinatra, wtf is your problem? You are a probably one of the most pessimistic jack offs I've seen on public forums. If you have nothing positive to say then dont reply to my posts.

As for my truck being "slow". Do you even know what the hell you are talking about? Obviously not.

The 2004 Roush F150 runs a 14.9 1/4 mile
The 2004 Dodge SRT10 runs a 13.8 1/4 mile

SRT10
Roush F150

The testers of pickuptruck.com reported:
I hit LACR on a test ‘n’ tune night. It was extremely cold and many vehicles were having a tough time hooking up on the drag strip. The first run was wasted in a ball of smoke at the starting line with just a medium stab at the pedal. Two runs later we recorded a best of the evening: 15.32 seconds at 89.55 mph (corrected for 2700-foot elevation). I ran four more times in the 15.4-second range, trying to get more aggressive on the launch, but the track just wouldn’t hold the tires. By comparison, I saw a Hemi-powered Ram Rumble Bee running about six-tenths slower than the Roush.

With a little warmer track and playing with the tire pressure, I probably could have recorded a high 14-second time. But my biggest handicap was the shift point. Even though the peak horsepower comes in at 5400 rpm, the truck was shifting at about 5000 rpm. I tried to shift manually but the fuel cutoff came in at 5100 rpm. Perhaps if the engine management computer would allow the truck to stretch its legs a little more, mid-14-second times would be easier.
Theoretically my truck is 1.1 seconds slower than the SRT10. Pickuptruck.com recorded a 15.32 with "bad" conditions at a higher elevation and reported a Rumble Bee running about 16s that night.... On top of all of that, I've read from NUMEROUS websites and forums, that the roush s/c has a lot of potential of cranking about 450hp and 500tq if tuned correctly. Now lets hear your pessimistc remarks about how SLOW my truck is.

When you can convince me a 15 second quater mile run is "fast"

and also the SRT-10 runs a 13.3

Thanks for the movie FDM - Well worth the wait. Keep them coming!

And don't worry about Asinine, he spreads good cheer all over this forum, so don't feel singled out.

"Fast" is relative to what your driving. 15 sec. qtr may not be fast for a mustang...... but if he can pull a 15 flat out of an x-cab 4x4....... I'll be "convinced".

Don't rain on the guys parade.... he just spent a butt-load on a mod most of us would die to have. I myself am excited about seeing the results at the track!

I need to slap one of those on my regular cab 4X2. Hit some 13.5 second 1/4mi!
