And I would put my little 221HP civic against your 300 or 400 HP truck any day.
He wasnt crying.....your just an idiot. Whoever said 200 more HP? 300 stock and 400 - 425 @ 8psi is a 100 - 125 HP gain. Completely reasonable and has been done numerous times.

And as far as putting that Yugo.....err....sorry...Civic up against a 300 - 400 HP truck anyday is a laugh. I kept my Denali so I could use that to spank Ricers. I wouldnt even waste the gas in my Mustang. I used to love the look I would get on peoples face after I would deliver a good raping to one of those little fart-can plastic toys. So tell me....now that I've got your attention....what does it feel like when a full-sized SUV loaded with 5 people outruns you? Its got to make you just want to sell your POS after you wipe the tears from your shirt

Have a great day

I used to live down the street from a guy that could pull high 11's in the 1/4 with his civic.... So, I would bash all rice rockets.

But the guys that stick a folgers can on the muffler for an exhaust tip are just hillarious.

well first off......i think 500 hp with a 6psi turbo sounds very reasonable on these new 3 valve 5.4's......if the roush kit makes 450 with 6 psi i think a turbo with 6 psi could easily clear the 500 mark.....the problem with a sc is that they are parasitical......it probably takes 50 to 75 horse power just to run the sc......a turbo doesnt have any parasitical losses....except maybe some small exhuast restriction.......and second....how much money does everybody think it would take to make a civic consistantly beat one of these 400 to 500 hp trucks without blowing the motor after the 2nd or 3rd time....maybe the same money it would take to just go ahead and buy an american V8 anyways? there is NO replacement for displacement.....

in all fairness, you have to give a 200+ fwhp civic credit... even a 400 RWHP 04-05 f150 wouldnt be able to pull off these kind of times VVVV. weight and aerodymics are just to far out of our favor... doesnt mean ud ever catch me in a civic tho

That was my point exactly Smokin.

Our truck weigh ALOT compared to a Civic or other small rice rocket.

You put money into a rice engine... built internals, and turbo system.. It will not only be reliable, but will FLY!

On the other hand.. alot of "ricers" that people speak of are just stock 4 banger cars with a coffee can for a muffler tip... Those slow cars are not only annoying, but fun to race and beat at a stop light.

Yall are out of your minds

Tony Denali nobody said it made 200 more HP, but the numbers were not right. That was my whole point. People on this site like me ask others for advice, so just be honest and have your facts right thats it. And as for the civic, I ran a 13.74 1/4 . So let me know how much power your american denali needs to run that. Besides, look how much power a mustang/camaro needs just to run that. And as for thetruck, Im 23 and Im an Electrician so i don't and never needed my parents money, by the way I might even make more money than you.

P.S. Listen to Smok][n he knows what his talking about.

Well, probably somewhere in the 3,000HP range...since the Denali won't be running (Generous Motors Products...'nuff said), it'll take probably 3K HP in the tow truck to run that fast while towing the Denali...

Besides...wasn't Tony Denali a guy on Welcome Back Kotter?

I should send you the video of my wifes stock 03 Denali ripping my stock FX4 a new one, it was not even close. Livernoismotorsports.com makes a sweet turbo kit for the Denali.

In your original post, were you asking for any advice? Nope, just throwing the bs flag.

Talk to skidmarkracing, he ran like a 12.6 in his screw making a little over 400 rwhp. Over 400rwhp will definitely make these trucks move.

23 and an electrician? HAHA!!! Nothing to brag about there buddy.

Well, to be honest...I was lucky to pull high 15's stock with the Denali....

BUT once I put some "powered by GMC" stickers on the side, installed my garbage can as an exhaust tip, pulled off 4 of my plug wires to give it that "HIGH PERFORMANCE" sound, and installed the wing of a Boeing 747 for my spoiler....I ran 11.7's.

LMFAO!

Edit: you forgot the type R sticker from autozone and a nonfuntional scoop on the roof...those should cut off a tenth....add a nos sticker and a blow off valve imitator and your cuttin 2 tenths.
