Why the F150?
We had a problem like this awhile back.....If I remember correctly, it was either Steve (webmaster) or RockPick (aka RP) that put a stop to it - real quick.
Now we are starting this crap again.
WTF

Well, that's true for most fullsize truck owners, this is a fiercely loyal segment...
That said, I hate when people on TitanTalk do nothing but brag about winning drag races or whatever, like that has anything to do with how good a truck is. Sure, power is nice, but I'm not about to claim my Titan is a better truck than an F-150 because it accelerates faster; I spend maybe 5% of my driving accelerating briskly, and usually never at WOT. I'm just happy we live in a time where there are some great trucks on the market, so instead of bashing other people's trucks, I'll just respect them.

Thnx MrXpress
I dont mind talking about trucks if it isnt gonna end up in a negative debate. We have had these issues in the past, and they aren't productive. This is a great forum, and we have all kinds of truck owners here. It always boils down to:
personal preference.

Here's an interesting read of an unbiased opinion. It seems the
Titan is made in the U.S. Designed in the U.S. Built in the U.S.

And yes I own a Dodge SRT-10 and a Nissan Titan...
The Ford is a nice truck, just rides too mushy for me and way too underpowered for my taste...

Why the F150?
Because the new regular cab has by far the most interior room of all full size regular cabs, the only 4door regular cab out there. Add to that the ride, the looks and the overall quality of the machine and it was an easy decision (as in no brainer). It didn't hurt that my previous experiences with a '51 F-1, '77 F-100 and a '93 F-150 were all really good experiences!
I almost didn’t get the F150 because the interior is way to luxurious and the way it rides, so smooth and quiet, it doesn’t feel like a truck. Another downside is too much power, why do you need so much. I bought one anyway just to give it a try but I’m still not used to the quiet smooth comfortable ride yet, it takes some getting used to.

Good responses. Just to dispel some of the myths, the Titan is produced in Canton, Mississippi, so lets throw out the "Made in the USA" statements. Same is true for the Toyota Tundra which is produced in Indiana and will be produced in Texas in 2006. And as I understand it, some or parts of the F-150 are made in Canada and Mexico. Does that change your opinion?

I'm not trolling like some would think. Yes I made the post on Titantalk but that doesn't mean I am trolling. Yes I own a Titan, but almost bought an F-150 so I am curious as to why you chose the F-150 over the the other brands. Not flaming or trying to start a debate. Just wondering about others opinions. Some of you are too quick to make judgement.
I'm curious just how many Titan owners came from a full size Detroit truck... or are Japanese owners to begin with. The people that have NEVER in their life owned a Detroit vehicle. This truck is a trade up from a Tacoma or an Accord.
If this is the case, there is already an anti-Detroit bias in their purchase decision. No different than the Camry, Accord or Odessey owners that go off on how $h!tty the Taurus, Windstar, 300, Caravan, Impalas, etc are.
One of those Peter DeLorenzo theories.
