How "cool" is your "cool" a/c? Mine only seems to get "cool" as well, but I figured it was me. Haven't put a temp gauge on it yet...

1)**** poor fit&finish of paint and body
2)Radio volume surges
3)passenger side brakes screwey
4)front tires feathered
5)rear differentail cover leaking
6)poor throttle response+doesn't feel like 300hp
7)Dealer buff burned fender and put 2 holes in lower dash dr side
All this within first 2k miles. Can't wait to see what else happens
2) Speed sensitive volume. Read your Owner's Manual.

I am glad to report that after 6 months of trying the vibration problem has been fixed on my truck.

The truck is a reg cab XLT 5.4 and manufactured 10/03.

The original vibration was so severe that the whole truck vibrated and rattled. It was undrivable but the vib stoped after pulling over and stopping the truck.

Dealer Carried out TSB 04-3-3 and replaced rear axle and differential assy. - Big improvement but still a low level vib that could be felt coming from under the truck.

Dealer did tire ballance and road force checks - vibration now focused around 80Kmh, it never felt like a tire problem.
Dealer installed damper unit - no difference.

Dealer replaced drive shaft with latest version - Hooray vib FIXED. All this took place over six months with the truck being at the dealers for a total of 5 weeks and one day.

It's a real pleasure to drive now.

5x150,

Is the drive shaft different in design or just a different part number?

My '04 F-150 scab had the brake master cylinder replaced at about 700 miles. Now has about 1700 since I bought it a month ago. The windshield has been replaced once due to wavy lines and distortion. The second is no better and I'll take in next week to get the replacement replaced. Losts of brake dust on the front wheels, but I've already read about the fix for that.

Oh,must've misread that in my book or maybe your book is different. Cause I wasn't aware of the speed sensitive volume working while setting still in the driveway and just turning the steering wheel left to right. Or when you shift from reverse to drive.
