Power Window problem

I noticed Sunday that sometimes when I roll down my driver side window that it will not roll up. I push the power button up several times and it rolls right up. It doesn't do it everytime but since Sunday it has done it 10 or so times. Plan on taking it in for a check at the dealer, just wanted to know if anyone else has encoutered this problem.

I don't have that problem, but i do get a pinline of grease (about 4 1/2" long) in the middle lower end of the glass evertime i roll the window down.

OK on the grease! I have that on BOTH windows. Hard to remove, in fact I haven't scrubbed enough to remove the streaks.

Both windows here too, drivers side is worse, i use either acetone, or carb cleaner on a rag (whatever is closest to me in the garage) comes off easy enough, i was hoping it would "go away" but ive had the truck since Jan. and its still a nuisance.

Damn fellas! That sucks! No problems to report here with the windows. Build date 12/03, I picked it up 12/18/2003. 12,000 miles.

Keep us updated.

update

I was the one who started that thread, well the dealer determined that it had the regulator cable broken. R/R LH front Window.

They orderd me a REG ASY-FRT DR

PART# 4L3Z-1523201-BA

It has been about a week since they fixed my window, no problems as of yet works like a champ.

p.s my window did start not wanting to go up at first, as Ky04F150 stated, and after a few more days it finally gave out and fell off it's tracks. My advice take it to the dealer A.S.A.P so they can fix you up.

The easiest thing I have found to take it off is Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Takes all of it off in about 2 seconds. I have used other stuff like naptha ,etc, but the eraser is best.
