I've posted some quick snaps of my finished installation. I did not document the installation, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask. It was a lot of equipment and took two full days.

Head Unit: Kenwood KVT-911DVD
Nav Unit: Kenwood KNA-DV3100
DVD/CD Changer: Kenwood KDVC810
Sirius Tuner: Kenwood KTC-SR902
Install Kit: Scosche & PAC SWIX

That is awesome. When I see something like this I wonder if I should have ordered audiophile......I really want DVD and navigation. But when you add all the changers, subs etc, and then take into account my complete lack of stereo install knowledge, I probably did the right thing.

Billiet Grill

Does the Carriage Works Billet grill replace the front grill assembly or bolt over?? What I am wondering does the Carriage Works unit include the entire assembly(i.e. grill AND chrome oval that goes around grill). How does the Carriage go on, does it replace entire grill assembly?

I'll answer the Kenwood DVD installation questions here and post a new reply for the Carriage Works Billet Grill.

The Kenwood Equipment cost the following:

Kenwood KVT-911DVD 6.5" Monitor/TV/CD/DVD $1,249.95
Kenwood KNA-DV3100 GPS Navigation DVD System $1,039.95
Kenwood KDV-C810 10-Disc DVD/MP3/CD Changer $684.95
Kenwood Sirius KTC-SR902+CXSR20 Tuner/Antenna $64.95

Combined S&H with Insurance (to 30041) =$79.95

Grand Total =$3,119.75

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The Scosche Installation and Wiring Kit cost the following:
FD1424B $14.95
FD23B $14.95
s&h $8.00

The part numbers are FD1424B for the kit and FD23B for the harness.

If you want to order you can call Schoshe directly at the # below.

The Steering Wheel Controls no longer work, however this will be fixed by using the PAC SWIX available at Crutchfield or go to www.pacaudio.com for manufacturer's details.

The Bazooka was about $150 and is a powered (100 watt) 6" driver. I completed the installation myself and probably spent another $200 on miscellaneous items including some shorter control cables from Kenwood.

From the office of redundancy office comes a related post:

I added a pic of the Navagation unit. The control unit and Sirius module are not visible without removing the seat. I might take a pic when I install the remote IR if I take out the seat.

Daneo, where is the speedometer wire (or whatever it is called) to connect the nav system to your speedometer? I just picked mine up with my Pioneer nav system installed but Ford wouldn't tell them where to put the wire that connects to the truck so the nav system can see how fast I'm going. Where did you find the schematic? He said if I can find it I can take it back and they'll plug it in. The wire is back there waiting to be tapped in. Thanks.

See this thread. I'll take a pic this weekend (I'm waiting for shorter harnesses to dress out the installation as well as installing a PAC SWIX to regain steering wheel controls).

Will try to get you a detailed view. I assume you don't have voice guidance as a result of this not being connected.

I think you forgot to post the thread link.

Actually I DO have voice guidance. It is just a little behind on updating the map as I'm moving.

Thanks for checking that out for me.

dude you have a really sweet truck. id do almost anything just for the truck itself. how much extra money have you put into that truck including all the DVD stuff, speakers, lift, everything? also how much was the truck itself?
