so another update i had to replace the starter also this past week but now since i changed the cops and plugs the truck runs great, now just need to change the transmission fluid and she will be all set, also i finally got around to changing the manifold stud on the driver side, the manifold and exhaust where held together by a C clamp lol so it had to go

my dad had to replace the back cross member before we put it on, completely rotted out

the tail gate was missing the plastic piece on the top so we just cut down a full size tailgate one and attached it, worked out pretty good

anyone got a rear bumper? for a flareside, the ones up hear are all rottted out, if worst comes to worst i might have to buy a bad one before i have money enough to buy a good one, price for the box and tailgate total was 300$

damn old junk autolite spark plugs, replaced them with motorcraft plugs, to my suprise thName:  IMG_1183_zpsf0d7674e.jpg

in the pic above where the dark black is where we had to patch it, it was rotten back there, as well as the subframe underneath but all is welded up nicely

Looks good. What are your plans for paint? Sticking with the maroon color or going to a completely new color? Probably not on the top of the list but just curious..

That's a hell of a 4 wheeler!

I haven't checked in in a while, but I'm very glad to see that you got her all buttoned up. May have been better off buying a non rusted southern truck, but where's the fun in that? This was and is an awesome build my friend
