luckily all the nut heads came off, one nut had to be cracked with a chisel, the others came off with sockets, had one broken end stud before i even tackled the project, a great way to removing studs is with a 10mm gripper socket, all came out aok

 

all installed with new egr tube , project time took two afternoons, so approximately one day
